about KEAMS
Korean Emergency Airway Management Society (KEAMS) was founded in Seoul, Korea in 2006 as a multi-specialty not-for-profit organization.
We provide an interdisciplinary forum for physicians and others interested in clinical airway management. Members are engaged in emergency medicine, prehospital medicine and nursing. Members are encouraged to become active by participating in committees, attending regular meetings and acting as facilitators for various airway training courses.
Our mission is to optimize safe airway management by research and education.
Our activities include the following:
1) Sharing of experiences and knowledge through regular meetings and conferences.
2) Standardization and improvement in educational tools.
3) Developing and operating various airway devices.
4) Improving the academia of emergency airway management through research.
5) Promoting special interest group gatherings.
6) Networking with regional and international group interested in emergency airway management.
KEAMS welcomes ties with other organizations interested in airway management. We hope to be able to contribute to safe airway management through our activities and networking with you!
